CUCET Counselling process is expected to start from the 4th week of June 2022. However, these dates are still tentative and it is yet to confirm. The CUCET Counseling session will be conducted through online mode and it will be necessary for all the qualifying candidates to participate in this process. It is so because seats will be allotted to the selected candidate during this counseling process.
However, this CUCET Counseling process will be conducted separately by each participating university through the online mode. With this article, we have mentioned the whole process of Counseling.

CUCET Counseling Procedure 2022
After the CUCET result, the Central University will confirm the admission after the counseling session. However, the CUCET Counselling session will be conducted by each university separately. Each participating university releases its rank list as the first step of this process. After which scheduled counseling will be given to each candidate for this process. Each qualified candidate has to attend this session as per the schedule.
Candidates need to fill the course and college preferences through online counseling. High-rank holders are given more preference over the lower-rank holders. Now, in the counseling process, the seats are allotted to the students as per the availability of seats and ranks of the candidates. When a candidate accepts the seat and submits the required documents & fees to the allotted University. Therefore, the counseling procedure of the CUCET:
- Qualified candidates need to register for the CUCET counseling session on the official website of the CUCET 2022.
- After which, each participating university will publish the acceptable CUCET score and rank list for all the qualifying candidates.
- The participating universities will call the candidates who will clear their cut-off score of the CUCET.
- Each university will publish the schedule for their counseling session.
- Candidates need to participate in the counseling session as per the prescribed schedule.
- During the counseling process, students need to fill their choice of course and university.
- The allotment of the seat will be made to each candidate as per their rank, preferences, and seat availability for the preferred course in a university.
- Candidates satisfied with the seat allotment need to confirm their seat by paying the fees and document verification.
- Each candidate has to present the required documents to the allotted University.
Documents required for the Verification
After the seat allotment, a candidate needs to submit some documents for the verification and confirmation of admission. Here are the documents that should be presented by the candidate:
- Admit Card of CUCET 2022
- Result sheet of CUCET 2022
- Degree Certificate and Marks sheet of all semesters
- Class XII Certificate & Marks Sheet
- Class X Certificate and Marks sheet
- Category Certificate (if a candidate belongs to a reserved category)
- Medical Certificate (in case of PwD candidates)
- Photocopies of the original documents.
How Seat Allotment is done at CUCET Counseling?
As we have mentioned above, the allotment of the seats for the CUCET 2022 is made as per the rank of the candidate in this entrance exam. The allotment process will continue until the vacant seats are not filled. The CUCET counseling process will be closed once all the seats of each college will be full. Therefore, each candidate should check if there are any vacant seats left in any of the participating universities. After which, a candidate needs to have all the documents for verification purposes.
