Arab World’s first ever nuclear reactor starts its operation
The nuclear reactor Barakah has been started by the UAE at Abu Dhabi
It has been developed jointly by Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC) and Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO)
In its full capacity, the reactor will be able to meet a quarter of the country’s energy demands
