The mission will send a telescope, on a football stadium-sized balloon, at the stratospheric level to observe wavelengths of light invisible from the Earth.

This will help in understanding the formation of giant stars in the galaxy

Indian Accounting Standards related to leasing amended

These changes were made to facilitate rent concessions and changes to leases while in contract period during the corona pandemic crisis

Indian Accounting Standards is issued and supervised by the Accounting Standards Board.

FAO releases Global Forest Resources Assessment: India ranks third

The report assesses the condition and management of forests in the member countries.

According to the report, 10 countries have gained forest area between 2010 and 2020

  1. It accounts for 2% of total global forest area
  2. It provides 50% of the world forestry employment, which is the highest

India ranked third is terms of forest gain, after China and Australia
