Arun Singhal has been appointed the CEO of the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet
FSSAI is an autonomous body established under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India.
It looks after the food industry standards and manufacturing, storage, distribution, sale, and import of foods in India

PM Street Vendors Atmanirbhar Nidhi is a credit facility scheme for rural and urban street vendors
As part of SVANidhi, Rs 10,000 credit amount will be provided to street vendors to restart their business
They shall then return the amount in installments over a year

The platform was created by National Informatics Centre.
