India ranks third on ‘Global E-waste Monitor 2020’
The ‘Global E-waste Monitor 2020’ report has been published by the United Nations
As per the report:
- 53.6 million tonnes of e-waste was generated globally in 2019, out of which only 17.4 percent was recycled
- India was the third largest contributor to e-waste
- China topped the list, with USA coming in second as the highest producers of e-waste
