“Operation Shield” launched by the Delhi Government
The Operation will be implemented in 21 containment zones of Delhi. The steps to be implemented are: S- Sealing of 21 containment zones H- Home quarantining of residents in these zones I- Isolation of primary and secondary contacts of infected individuals E- Essential supply of commodities L- Local authorities to sanitize area D- Door-to-door health checks

Ceasefire in Yemen declared by Saudi-led Coalition
Saudi Arabia led coalition declared a two-week cease fire in Yemen. The coalition includes Saudi Arabia, Sudan, UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Senegal It is supported by the UN to aid Yemen government against a coup by the Houthis group.

Pune based company Genrich Membranes has developed a membrane oxygenator equipment to treat COVID-19 patients It will treat breathlessness, a major complication of COVID-19 The device enriches oxygen in the air up to 35 per cent and does not require trained manpower for its operation

According to Broadcast Audience Research Council, Doordarshan was among the highest watched channels last week. This was due to rebroadcasting of old shows like Ramayana, Mahabharata, Shaktiman and Buniyaad. Overall TV viewership has increased by 43% compared to pre-COVID-19 periods.
