The South District Police launched a COVI Van Helpline for senior citizens in the neighbourhood during the coronavirus situation.
The launching of the COVI Van has been circulated in the Greater Kailash -1 area through beat officers and RWA.

Opposition escalated between Israel and Hamas after air strikes
The Israeli military has bombarded rockets in different areas of Gaza, this being the most intense airstrike in Gaza since 2014.

India’s GDP Forecast: 9.2% for FY22, as projected by Care Ratings
The domestic rating agency revised the GDP growth forecast of India for the fiscal year 2021-2022 (FY22) to 9.2%.
This prediction is lower than the 10.2% estimated earlier in April 2021.
The revision was made citing the adverse effect of the second wave of the pandemic in India.

Classified Yaogan satellites launched by China
China recently launched a Yaogan satellite, Changsei 2C rocket, from the Xichang satellite launch centre.
This satellite joined the previous seven groups in orbit that were launched after 2017.
The satellite will be used for electromagnetic environmental surveys and other related technical tests.
Quick Fact: Yaogan is a series of Chinese reconnaissance satellites launched in the early 21st century.

Union Cabinet approves MoU between ICAI and QFCA
The MoU signed between the two nations will strengthen the accounting profession and entrepreneurship base in Qatar.
