Poba Reserve Forest of Dhemaji district, Assam, will be upgraded to a wildlife sanctuary.
This will result in increased security to its internal wildlife and increased security restrictions
Poba Reserve Forest, declared in 1924, covers a 10,522 hectares large habitat for a large number of flora and fauna.
