Ministry of Youth and Sports launches Fit India Youth Club
Fit India Youth Club initiative will be a nation-wide initiative to promote fitness among every citizen.
To unite fitness and voluntarism, Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan and National Service Scheme, Scouts and Guides, NCC and other youth organisations will register as Fit India Youth Clubs.
Each member of the Club will encourage others to perform 30-60 minutes long fitness activities daily.

Atal Rankings of Institutions on Innovative Achievements, 2020 (ARIIA 2020)
AIIRA aims to systematically rank all major higher educational institutions and universities in India on indicators related to “Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development”
It was launched by Ministry of Education and will be implemented by All India council for Technical Education (AICTE)
IIT Madras ranked first in the institute of national importance category. Other categories include Centrally funded institutions, State Funded Universities, State Funded Autonomous Universities, Private Institutions (self finance) and Private or Deemed Universities.

Dwarf Planet Ceres of Solar System has an Ocean World
Ceres is a dwarf planet located between Mars and Jupiter
Latest studies have revealed that it is a remnant ocean world and still has a 40 km deep brine reservoir
The Ceres was first spotted in 1801 by Giuseppe Piazzi. NASA’s Dawn Mission also orbited it.
Quick Fact: Pluto, Eris, Haumea, Makemake and Ceres are the five dwarf planets of the solar system.

World Tallest Pier Bridge to be constructed in Manipur
Indian Railways is constructing the world’s tallest pier bridge in the state of Manipur
It is 141 metres high and is a part of the 111 km long Jiribam-Tupul-Imphal railway line project
This project will boost trade and connectivity between Manipur and the South East Asian countries, boosting India’s Act East Policy
