“Ek Pahal Campaign” launched for Justice delivery at doorstep

The campaign has been launched by the Department of Justice and NALSA.

Two Indian projects to get the Earthshot Prize

Two Indian projects have been selected for the environment prize called ‘Earth shot Prize’.

One of the selected projects is a Solar-Powered Ironing Cart designed by a 14-year-old Tamil Nadu school girl and the second is an Agricultural Waste recycling Concept developed by an entrepreneur from Delhi.

The prize is conferred annually to five winners for their solutions that substantially help the environment.

Quick Fact: The first-ever Environment Prize called ‘Earthshot Prize’ was launched by Britain’s Prince William and David Attenborough in 2020.

PEDA inks pact with CESL for EV charging stations

Punjab Energy Development Agency (PEDA) has signed a MoU with CESL for installing public charging stations for electric vehicles in Punjab.

The MoU was signed by the CEO of PEDA, Navjot Pal Singh Randhawa.

The collaboration seeks to expand the EV transition portfolio providing accessible and affordable charging infrastructure in the state of Punjab.

NITI Aayog partners with Byju’s to provide free education in Aspirational Districts

NITI Aayog has partnered with Byju’s in a bid to provide free access to education to students in 112 Aspirational districts in India.

The project consists of two main components- Byju’s Career Plus program and the Voluntary program.

Under the partnership, Byju’s will provide free access to its high-quality tech-driven learning program to students ensuring quality education.

The 15th-edition of Indo-Nepal Joint Military Training Exercise ‘Surya Kiran’ will be held from September 20 at Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand.

The armies of both nations would share their experiences of various counter-insurgency operations improving bilateral relations and strengthening traditional friendship.

The previous edition of ‘Surya Kiran’ was conducted in Nepal in the year 2019.

The book will be published by Princeton University Press.
