SWISS will be the first airline in the world to use solar-powered aviation fuel.
Swiss International Air Lines AG (SWISS or Swiss Air Lines) and its parent business, the Lufthansa Group, have teamed up with Synhelion SA (Synhelion), a Swiss solar fuels start-up, to use its solar aviation fuel.
Swiss International Airlines will be the first airline to employ solar aviation fuel (also known as “sun-to-liquid” fuel) to assist in the powering of its aircraft.
Quick Fact: In 2023, the Swiss will be the first to use solar kerosene.
The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has unveiled a special logo commemorating 75 years of Indo-Dutch diplomatic relations.
This year marks the 75th anniversary of the beginning of diplomatic relations between India and the Netherlands. To celebrate the event, Sanjay Verma, Secretary (West) in the Ministry of External Affairs, and Marten van den Berg, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to India, jointly released a logo on March 2, 2022.

T S Ramakrishnan has been appointed as LIC Mutual Fund’s new MD and CEO.
TS Ramakrishnan has been named Managing Director and CEO of the LIC Mutual Fund, effective immediately. Ramakrishnan will follow Dinesh Pangtey, the former Wholetime Director and CEO, as the MD and CEO of LIC Mutual Fund Asset Management.
