DU JAT or the Delhi University Joint Admission Test is a national level entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to various programs offered by the 16 colleges affiliated to the Delhi University such as the Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS), Bachelor of Business Administration (Financial Investment Analysis) and BA (Hons) in Business Economics.

The exam is conducted online and the question paper contains questions from Quantitative Ability, Reasoning and Analytical Ability, General English, and Business and General Awareness. This section tests your general knowledge and how well updated you are with current affairs. Learning current affairs starting from a year back would help you do well in this section. The topic is generally a mix of both current affairs and static GK. It is also important to know the names of famous CEOs and other businessmen who are frequently mentioned in current affairs. Understanding the syllabus

Before starting to prepare for the exam, you should know what are the topics you need to cover for the exam. This is why you should have an understanding of the syllabus. Once you know what to study, you can easily allot time for each topic that you need to study. The questions asked in the section are from the following areas:

Reading Newspapers

Reading newspapers is one of the primary steps in preparing for a current affairs section in any exam. You should always stay up to date with what is happening around you, in your state, in other states, in your country, and all around the world. It is advisable to read at least two papers daily and take notes about important events.

Revision and Practice

After studying a topic, revise it at the end of the day. Revise everything you have learned during the week during the weekend. Revision is as important as studying. In the end, test your knowledge by taking mock tests. Analyze which areas you need to work more on and allocate more time to it.
