Arjun Dev: Famous Indian historian passes away
Prof. Arjun Dev worked as a historian at the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT). He is the author of History of the World: From the Late 19th to the Early 20th Century He was part of the team which transformed NCERT books into modern, scientific books for children. After retiring, Prof. Arjun took up the Towards Freedom Project of the Indian Council of Historical Research.

PSBs announce deferment of EMI payments on loans
The deferment of EMI payments on loans is for three months, due to COVID-19 pandemic RBI had earlier issued directions asking lending institutions to allow the three month moratorium. The moratorium is on the principal, the interest will continue to accrue.

Govt extends existing foreign trade policy till 2021
DGFT has extended the current foreign trade policy 2015-20 from March 31, 2020 to March 31, 2021 It has also extended the date of exemptions by one year and extended validity of DFIA and EPCG authorisations for imports.
